Quota Exchange

There are 4,000 quota units from the Lower Mainland and 3,800 quota units from the Vancouver Island available for purchase in March. One exchange will be conducted for each region. Layer quota must first be offered to prospective buyers within the seller’s region. If the offer to sell is not fulfilled from within the seller’s region, the quota will be placed on the exchange in the region with the lowest offer to buy fill rate.

  • March 5, 2025 – run the exchange and post results on the website
  • April 2, 2025 – quota transfers to occur
