Quota Exchange

September 2026 Quota Exchange

BC Egg will accept offers to sell for the September quota exchange until 4:00 pm on August 4, 2026.  The rules pertaining to the exchange can be found in Part VI of the Consolidated Order. The complete timeline for the next exchange will be as follows:

• July 1 to August 4, 2026 – accept offers to sell
• August 5, 2026 – notice of total quota offered for sale posted on the website
• August 5 to September 1, 2026 – accept offers to buy
• September 1, 2026 – all offers to buy, including the 10% deposit, must be received by the Board office no later than 4:00 pm
• September 2, 2026 – run the exchange and post results on the website
• October 7, 2026 – quota transfers to occur

The market clearing price for the quota exchange on September 2, 2026 will be $370.00 per unit of Layer Quota.
