The 2016 BMO Vancouver Marathon took place on another beautiful day with a spectacular route past beaches, Stanley Park and the Seawall. BC Egg was there again to support this five-day event that started off with the Health, Sports, and Lifestyle Expo.

At this trade show BC Egg farmers handed out information materials, recipe cards and toys for kids. Our farmers love to engage with the public, answer questions, and talk about farming.  It’s easy for farmers to talk about their passion for providing nature’s fresh , best quality protein. Athletes who dropped by agreed … they love eggs and appreciate how it is a necessary part of their diet.

Also during the week, BC Egg supported the Kids Run for children ages 5 to 12. The run takes place along Lost Lagoon in Stanley Park and this year saw 500 children join the 2.5K walk or run.
