How long have you been egg farming?
Why did you begin egg farming?
I grew up on a farm in Mexico and knew that was the way I wanted to raise my family. I have always loved animals and every aspect of the farm life, so when we had the chance to enter the new entrant program, we knew it was our chance to have our own farm. We're lucky enough to have been selected.

What is your favourite part about being an egg farmer?
I love being around animals taking care of them and being able to make a living out of what I love.
Why did you choose the production type you use?
We love seeing our birds out of the barn in the pasture and I think more and more costumers like the idea that the hens get some freedom out from the barn. We chose our aviary system for the same reason.

Egg farming is a family affair. Every day of the year, 365 to be exact, we are there, in the barn with the chickens. We truly know that a happy healthy animal produces the best eggs possible.
