The 2022 AGM and Conference will be a unique event exclusively for egg producers and will feature a welcome reception with craft beer tastings, an egg producer focused trade show, engaging guest speakers, and special entertainment during the lunch break! We’ll also be featuring our hallmark gala dinner event on the Friday night, with recognition for industry achievements, fantastic food, and live music and dancing.
This amazing event will be taking place in downtown Vancouver, at the opulent Fairmont Vancouver Hotel on West Georgia Street.
A reminder that, as per Provincial Public Health Orders (PHOs), all attendees at the AGM & Conference must show proof of full vaccination to attend. BC Egg will be following all current Provincial health guidelines and PHOs and we ask for your assistance in keeping everyone safe and healthy.
Book your stay at the conference hotel, the Fairmont Vancouver! Located in the heart of downtown Vancouver, you’ll be steps away from all the conference events and activities and all downtown Vancouver has to offer should you wish to extend your stay. The Conference Rate will be honoured three days prior and three days after the event (based on hotel availability) so you can enjoy your time in Vancouver.
The Conference Group Rate discount has now ended.
Should you require last-minute accommodation, please call the hotel directly at 604.684. 3131 or 1.866.540.4452.
From egg-focused keynote speakers to lunchtime entertainment, we have a full slate of programming scheduled for the 2022 Conference! Here’s a taste of what’s on offer:
John F.T. Scott is a renowned leader and authority on the food industry: notably the intersection between economics and consumer trends, their implications, and opportunities for producers, manufacturers, and retailers. Leveraging his unique depth of experience spanning economic policy and decades of hands-on leadership experience in the industry, John will talk about what strategies we must adopt to minimize risk and maximize upside in today’s retail climate.
John comes to CCFI after serving as the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries and the Deputy Minister of Rural and Regional Development in Prince Edward Island. He previously served as the Executive Director of the Prince Edward Island Federation of Agriculture and has a wealth of knowledge working with various commodity organizations. John will share what the CCFI has learned about public trust and why producers should be paying attention to this important measurement tool.
